OUR MISSION
Students |
Students within the Kings Arms Church are highly valued and important to the life of the church. We have a part-time student worker, Euan Crane, who heads up the student work and is committed to seeing the students grow in their relationships with God. University can be a tough place for a Christian and we want to love and support people through it and make it the most life-changing and exciting time of their lives. |
Discipleship |
We encourage all students to get involved as much as possible in the church and getting alongside them is a key way of doing that. We aim to meet all of the students needs and look to encourage and pray with them on a regular basis. We know accountability is an important part of this but also realise this comes with time so we pursue real and honest friendships with each person. |
Serving |
We believe that a helpful way of getting involved in church life is through service and currently we have students involved in worship bands, stewarding and the youth work. All the students involved feel part of the wider community and get to know more people as a result AND are serving the church in the process. |
Evangelism |
We take Acts 1:7-8 seriously and see witnessing to our friends as our highest calling behind worshipping God. We are passionate about witnessing to other students about Jesus, whether it be just socialising, supporting friends or welcoming people into our houses. We often host social events including BBQ’s, pizza evening’s, Quasar nights, trips to London for people to feel part of the church. |
